A container with unique specifications

The Coolboxx container is similar to the existing 40 ft. reefer container. The Coolboxx version has grown into a 45 ft. pallet-wide reefer container with four shoring poles to secure the load. The internal dimensions of the container are 13.28 x 2.44 x 2.58 metres (L x W x H). Cargo access height is 2.56 metres. Normally, 20 ISO-pallets fit into one container; yet, the Coolboxx container offers a loading capacity of 26 such pallets, equalling a 30% increase. For euro-pallet shipments, profit is also remarkable: 28 euro-pallets loaded in conventional containers – against 33 such pallets in the Coolboxx container: an 18% gain. An important advantage for Coolboxx is that you can combine the flexibility of a container with the loading capacity of a trailer. - Internal container dimensions correspond to those of standard trailers seen on European motorways.
